Das Edelfettwerk ist eine alte Fabrik in Hamburg in der seit den 30'er Jahren Edelfette hergestellt wurden. Vor einigen Jahren wurde die Produktion stillgelegt und somit der Weg für die Zukunft frei. Seit 2002 wurden die alten Fabrikanlagen deinstalliert und durch einzigartige Lounge- und Tanzflächen ersetzt. Eine Vision für eine einzigartige Partylocation wurde umgesetzt. Auf dem Gelände des Edelfettwerks ist ein Club entstanden, wie es ihn so in Hamburg bisher nicht gab.
Auf einem ca. 6000 qm großen Industriegelände wurden die ehemaligen Fabrikgebäude in beliebig begehbare Bar- und Tanzflächen umgebaut, in denen jeder Gast sein persönliches Lieblingsrefugium finden dürfte.
Im Zentrum des Areals steht das Wahrzeichen des Edelfettwerks, ein alter Turm in dem früher die Fettveredelung stattfand. Hier laden heute zwei übereinander liegende Bars, hinter der neu verglasten Fassade, zu einem Rundblick bei Nacht ein.
In den daneben gelegenen ehemaligen Produktionsräumen entstanden weitere Barbereiche. Wo früher einmal die Lagerhallen und das Labor waren, entstanden die Tanzflächen des Edelfettwerks und werden zur Spielwiese für nationale und internationale DJ's.

The EDELFETTWERK event-center is an old factory in Hamburg where since the thirties fat was manufactured. Some years ago production closed down and the way for the future was free. Since 2002 the old manufacturing plants were deinstalled and replaced by singular lounges and dancehalls. A new party-location was born. On the area of the Edelfettwerk a club has developed, that in Hamburg never exist so far. On an approx. 6000 square meter large industrial area the former factory buildings have been reconstructed into several bars and dancehalls in which each person will find her own adorable place. This will ensure elements of the interior arrangement in the different buildings, whose character remained from the old days of a manufacturing plant.
In the center of the area on which the Edelfettwerk was build an old tower is located, in that the fat refinement took place. Here today two new bars on two floors behind a big glassfront, invite you to enjoy the panorama at night . In hot summer nights the large roof terrace will be opened.
